Amrapali Express train no 15708

The 15707/15708 Amrapali Express is very popular Indian train and its starting point is Katihar Junction (कटिहार जंक्शन) Amritsar is the last station and went off. There are fifty (50) important station including first station and last station. It run daily and everyday it traveled distance upto one thousand seven hundred ninety nine (1799) kilometers which is equal to one thousand one hundred eighteen (1118) miles. The above distance covers in thirty seven (37) hours with the speed of forty eight (48) kilometers per hours. Amrapali Express Train No 15708 is also known as Ambapalika or Amritsar Katihar express. The name, Ambapali or Amrapali, is derived from a combination of two Sanskrit words: "amra", meaning mango, and "pallawa", meaning young leaves or sprouts.

Coaches
At presently train has AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper Class, and General Unreserved coaches. It has no pantry car coach. Although the rake comprises 22 coaches, the coach Composition, however, may be amended at the discretion of Indian Railways, depending on demand.
